Helping people feel confident in their own skin has guided my career for more than 35 years.
As a Registered Nurse, I’ve always believed aesthetic medicine is about far more than reducing wrinkles or adding volume. It’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves—refreshed, confident, and naturally beautiful, never overdone.
As the founder of Infinity MedSpa of Glastonbury, I built a practice centered on education, honesty, artistry, and genuine relationships. Every consultation starts with listening. I take the time to understand your concerns and goals before creating a personalized treatment plan designed specifically for you.
My expertise includes advanced injectable treatments, facial balancing, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, RF microneedling, laser resurfacing, regenerative aesthetics, and comprehensive facial rejuvenation. I believe the best results come from treating the face with balance and restraint rather than chasing individual lines or wrinkles.
Before opening Infinity MedSpa, I spent more than 20 years caring for patients at UConn Health. That nursing foundation continues to guide every recommendation I make—patient safety, education, and exceptional outcomes will always come before selling a treatment.
One of the greatest influences on my career was my own journey battling ovarian cancer while building Infinity MedSpa. That experience changed the way I care for patients. It reminded me that confidence isn’t vanity—it can be an important part of healing. I understand the emotional impact of looking in the mirror during life’s most difficult moments, and I’m committed to providing compassionate, personalized care.
I continue to pursue advanced training because aesthetic medicine is always evolving, ensuring my patients benefit from the latest evidence-based techniques and technologies.

Carla Gunn-Samson, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Carla Gunn-Samson is a board-certified physician with more than 15 years of experience providing thoughtful, individualized medical care. As Medical Director of Infinity MedSpa of Glastonbury, she provides medical oversight and supports our commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based aesthetic and wellness care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Gunn-Samson has developed a patient-centered approach grounded in listening, education, and personalized treatment planning. Her clinical experience spans a variety of health and wellness concerns, including skin health, weight management, hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and sexual wellness.
Dr. Gunn-Samson believes exceptional care begins with understanding the individual—not simply treating a concern. Her philosophy aligns closely with Infinity’s approach: thoughtful recommendations, medically guided care, and treatment plans designed around each patient’s unique needs and goals.
As part of Infinity’s medical leadership team, Dr. Gunn-Samson helps ensure our clinical standards remain focused on patient safety, appropriate care, and the high level of professionalism our patients expect.

Mary Tran, PA-C, MS

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Mary is a certified Physician Assistant joining the Infinity MedSpa of Glastonbury team. In addition to aesthetics and wellness, Mary also works as a Critical Care Cardiac Surgery Advanced practitioner, bringing a strong clinical foundation, procedural expertise, and attention to detail to her aesthetic practice.

Mary is passionate about empowering patients to feel confident, focusing on enhancing natural beauty while supporting whole-body health and wellness. Outside of work, she enjoys DIY projects, reading, yoga, and is always excited to learn something new.

Melanie Cherniack

MedSpa Manager/Client concierge /media coordinator

Melanie infuses our team at Infinity MedSpa with her extensive expertise in media. Her diverse background as an author, editor, speaker, podcast producer & host, and media personality enables her to create captivating content and engage with audiences effectively. In addition to her media skills, Melanie provides essential support to our clients, ensuring they receive exceptional care. Beyond her professional achievements, Melanie is a dedicated wife, proud mother of two grown daughters, and a doting grandmother to four delightful grandchildren. Her warm demeanor and vast experience make her an invaluable member of our team.
